How to use the grade calculator
Calculate the current grade
Divide points earned by points possible, then multiply by 100. For example, 425 out of 500 is 85%.
What score do I need next?
Multiply your target course percentage by the total points possible including remaining work. Subtract the points already earned to find the points needed in the remaining work.
When this method applies
This calculator assumes a points-based class with no weighted assignment categories, grading curve or dropped scores. For weighted grading systems, use the weights supplied by your teacher instead.
